Andrew Haig completed his FACEM in 2001 before spending 2 years (2004-2006) formally training in ultrasound and echocardiography in the UK. In 2006 he completed the Diploma in Diagnostic Ultrasound, the recognised post-fellowship sub-specialty qualification in ultrasound in Australasia and successfully sat the British Society of Echocardiography's Trans-Thoracic Echocardiography Examination. He now works as Director of Emergency Ultrasound and Senior Staff Specialist in Emergency Medicine at Liverpool Hospital in Sydney's South West.

 

Andrew has taught on over 30 ultrasound courses in the last 3 years in both Australia, New Zealand and the UK.
